Space Bar offers something unique that I have not found throughout my entire fitness journey. The ability to link the mind and the body along with stimulating recovery at the same time! If you have the chance to take some time and try out what they have to offer you might just feel the same way I do about this place! I love it! I have experienced the Float tank therapy along with the Ice bath/ Inferred sauna combo. The float tank was unlike anything I've ever do and left me feeling like a new man! My mind and body became one and it helped me reach a new level of relaxation. And through them Ice bath Jacob coached me through and even though I didn't want to get in, he helped me over come it and control my breathing throughout my experience! 10/10 on this place!

Used to be called Space Bar under different ownership, but the new owner Gabby has really put a lot of work into literally Renewing this establishment. Great new menu (the Mexican mocha was excellent), new equipment, and a cleaner look. What's great about this location is it's right next to my gym, Anytime Fitness, so I can go grab a protein shake right after my workout. Give this place a try!

Love this place. I went for the first time this week to try their float pod. It was amazing. I had a wonderful, peaceful time, and the float assisted with some health complications I've been dealing with. The staff were super informative, kind, and attentive. The energy at Space Bar is pleasant, positive, and relaxed. The prices are fair as well. They do not overcharge. To make it even better, they have a kava bar out front that serves kava, lattes, shots, and smoothies; that are delish btw. Along with kombuchas and other assorted health drinks. I love kava so this is perfect. I definitely will be a regular here. Great wellness services, fun and friendly staff, and zen dranks? Hell yeah. Definitely give them visit

Space BAR is an incredible new wellness center in Pasadena. They had a special 7 day challenge, where for $99 you could try unlimited classes, and 1 of each of their recovery treatments. Prior to your first session, you have a meeting/orientation where you go over your goals and receive a very helpful guided journal, where you can catalog your wellness journey. If you're an athlete, come use this place to recharge and avoid injury. If you're into wellness, use this place as a headquarters where you can do my goal with wellness: having wellness be as necessary as showering for your every day life.

Experienced my first true ice bath at Hot8 Yoga Pasadena with Space BAR's amazing staff. I literally needed their guidance for taking the requisite, super deep breaths as the body's natural response is to go into extreme, shallow breathing. I soaked up to my neck the first time but only lasted a minute 15sec. I went into their sauna tent and then did the ice bath again but this time for the full three minutes. The pain in the extremities kicks in at about a minute. From that point on, you start to feel like your body is shutting down and it's everything you can do to just focus on your breaths. The dopamine rush afterwards is incredible. The closest thing I've experienced to it is skydiving. Gonna go again this week but this time at Space BAR. Thank you! It was mentally so challenging but awesome afterwards!

Wanted to love this place but everytime i've signed up for a service something goes wrong. Always thought the booking system was faulty even when it was space bar. Went under renew and made an appt and the day of they couldnt find my appt with my guest. They placed us in a small room that barely had enough space for 1 person let alone two. One time I went the showers were broken, another time towels piled up in one of the showers and lastly I don't think the saunas work properly. I went in a sauna at arthra wellness and within 10 mins I was sweating bullets. Everytime I go to renew I barely break a sweat in the sauna. Makes it hard to justify spending money on treatments.

We love being neighbors with space bar when I'm in Pasadena I've had the privilege of enjoying their high quality matcha and the staff are excellent and friendly. I particularly enjoy saying hello to Joy as she brightens my day when I get the chance to say hello. Highly recommend their skillfully crafted drinks with clean & botanical ingredients!

I went to Space Bar to sweat in there sauna. It's is a very clean and private place. There staff is very professional and helpful. They sauna I used had a built in Bluetooth and external shower to wash up after wards.

It's shame there arnt more places like Space bar. First off, very home-like and felt very welcoming. Employee there Joy was an awesome person I got to meet and introduced me to the mushroom matcha which gave ma a good jolt of energy for the day! Definitely coming back.

Into multi-tasking with your wellness? Fan of açaí? Curious about mushrooms? Down with yoga? Look no further to mix up your Adaptogens with a float tank. You'd be hard-pressed to know from the street that this unassuming hole in the wall in a slower spot of Old Town houses everything from adaptogens superfood coffee drinks and kombucha (via Fit Bar in the front) to yoga, a float tank, ice bath, saunas, and a whole assortment of other goodies and services. The co-owner of Space Bar sat down with us for a long time and is super personable, gracious, super educated, and passionate about wellness.

This place is SO MUCH MORE than a place to recover from working out. I'm a pretty active guy, workout regularly but also have a lot of stress when it comes to work and family. Not only do they have tools like the float tank, cold tub and sauna... but Jacob, Elana and the entire crew do a great job of "teaching" you "how" to use them in a way that fits into your overall lifestyle. In a weird way, Space BAR is kind of like a "sanctuary" where you can just focus on yourself away from all the stresses of life. Everyone always says you have to make time for yourself so you can help others. This is a great way to do so. Thanks again!

Renew helped me through one of the most stressful periods of my life. My husband and I started coming about six months before our wedding, when everything felt overwhelming and there was constant pressure and change. The first time we tried the ice bath, it was an incredible mental reset. You can’t think about your stress when you’re sitting in freezing cold water. We left feeling exhilarated, clear headed and energized. It became an important part of managing stress during wedding prep, and we even did an ice bath the morning of our wedding! Gabby is wonderful. She is incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and health, and she genuinely cares about helping people feel better. You can tell she puts her heart into what she does. I also received regular massages at Renew, which made a huge difference in relieving chronic shoulder pain I’ve struggled with for years. They were both relaxing and truly therapeutic.

I’ve been coming to Renew Performance Center almost daily for the past 3 months for contrast therapy, and it’s truly been transformative. Their facilities are REALLY great and they are always adding new services to help you become your best self. They have Infrared saunas, cold plunges, red light therapy, float therapy, compression therapy, lymphatic drainage, massages, and stretching. The people here are incredibly welcoming, and I find myself staying longer just to enjoy the positive atmosphere. Gabby, the owner, is exceptional – her kindness makes every visit a boost for both my physical and mental wellness!! Highly recommend Renew to anyone who wants to take their physical and mental health to the next level.

This place is super ideal after my workout at the Anytime Fitness next to it. Owner Gabby I believe owns both Renew and Anytime, was super friendly and invited me over. I ordered the PBJ smoothie and it was delicious, the workers were top notch, transparent and friendly. After trying a recovery session im now a consistent member as prices are reasonable as I got the bundle with my gym membership and now recovery is part of my workout routine. Thanks Renew

As a Wim Hof Method Certified Instructor I travel all over the world and I am constantly looking for Fantastic places to recharge and get my contrast therapy (hot+cold) and just be able to relax and recharge in a beautiful environment, Renew Performance is exactly that! The only place I go when I'm in LA! The cold plunges are just the right temperature, the inferred saunas are always hot and ready, (no waiting for warmup), and there is a fantastic red light to make my skin feel great too!! Renews staff and owner are best in the business!! Courteous, accommodating, and just plain wonderful! Wherever you are in the LA area it is 100% worth the commute to get there, and don't forget to grab a cold organic juice or supper yummy coffee (MY FAV!!) after your experience!
